description

”Cruella De Vil wasn’t born. She was made.”

Thank you Scholastic for sending me a copy of Cruella to review

Fashion. Revenge. Dogs. Disney bringing a classic animation to life.

It’s a great book to accompany the movie. Brilliant take on Cruellas origin story.

If you love the movie, you'll love this book. It is the film in writing with a few added bits to explain some internal dialog that isn't exactly expressed in the film. Fun and easy read!

I love this new take on one of Disney's most evil villain's ever! The book has made so excited to see the show from Disney plus! I give it four stars simply for the originality of Cruella's backstory and how the characters meet together.
BIG SPOILER WARNING!!!!!!!!!!!
The ending is opened ended as for the reader to each draw their own conclusion as to the rest of the characters. I believed that the book would meet with the animated film but it seems to curve off from that note. The ending is more on Cruella getting her way and then everyone just leaving on a cliff hanger. Pun not intended.
