Stellar. Colorful, child-friendly illustrations provide a welcome for all kinds of kids. Students have a good chance of finding themselves in the pages.
I though the rhyme scheme was not quite perfect in places, with an awkward word choice or two. But the warmth and joy of the book overrides all. A perfect picture book for beginning the school year.

Beautiful illustrations depict a wide variety of cultures, families, and values. A wonderful message for not just kids but adults as well. If only everyone in the world actually believed in the message of the book.
