A solid ending to the series. I did find myself bored at times and tired of the constant boy drama, but whatever. I’m glad she chose George in the end.

What. A. Series. I predicted the ending from early on but fell so in love with the characters that I needed to hear how it all played out. I sobbed for the last two hours because of the pride I felt for all of the characters. Will recommend to every fantasy reader!!!!

What happened to this series after book 2!?
The biggest thing I can't get over is the fact that Alanna has had romantic sexual encounters with two men that are YEARS older than her and treat her like a bratty child (which she is most of the time). One of them is a man that was edging on 40 who was like a sensei to her and called her "kitten" until he was blue in the face
