Nick finally comes home after 8 years in the military, just for his long-time girlfriend to break up with him. Thankfully he has three best friends who are the greatest a guy could ask for: Anthony, Pike, and Noel. Noel grew up with Nick, in his house, after her parents died and his parents took her in. Ten years later, they're thick as thieves.

I read this book series out of order and I'm so glad I came back to book 1 after book 3. This was absolutely fantastic! Nick is everyone's dream guy: funny, flirty, open and honest with his feelings, and unabashedly affectionate. His relationship with his friends (and Noel's relationship with everyone too) is so natural and wonderful and ugh, I just love both of them. It's no surprise they'll get together, given the title, but I was so excited when they did. The narrators were fantastic too!

I’m here because of Bryce’s ✨Hallmark but they fuck✨ review.

This was cute! Not an all time favorite but I love a good seasonal read. Also I would give more stars if goodreads would get with it and let us give incremental stars.

Thought it was going to be a cute hallmark type christmas story. The story line is cute and the relationship with Nick & Noel had me routing for them but the sex stuff was way too much. May want to add in the genre that there is some R rated scenes, actually quite a bit. I maybe would not have listened to it.

Cute best friend to lovers romance. I absolutely love Hallmark movies so this was write up my ally! I really enjoyed watching how Nick and Noel’s friendship evolved and working through their struggles. Some of the interactions between the Noel and Amber seriously made my roll my eyes.. It was just so juvenile.

I did feel like I was missing more “Holiday” spirit in this book. While there are some holiday elements like the name of the town, I would have like to feel more of that warm holiday feelings after watching Hallmark.

I enjoyed this read, sort of. It was entertaining, but I felt the writing was lacking in a lot of ways. It was a good one for this busy season because I could easily put it down and then get right back into it because the story was simple. I felt like the characters were uninteresting, predictable and slightly ridiculous. Like if Disney Channel characters were grown ups… it felt like the author tried to give them some dimension, but it just didn’t work for me. Everything felt oversimplified and kind of high school, if that makes sense. I hate giving a negative review, and I’m sure a lot of people loved this one. And as I said, I enjoyed seeing where the story went. But, as a piece of literature… I can’t truly appreciate it.

It was an okay holiday story. I felt like it dragged on a lot and was kinda boring. It picked up pace about 60% of the way through. But for a book that takes place over a couple of weeks it felt like forever. The story did get better and more interesting so that was a plus. The romance finally kicked in and had somewhat of a happily ever after but not much detail after everything was tied up.

Once I got past the obnoxiously cheesy Christmas names, it wasn't terrible. Lol. Not very christmassy aside from names and I'm totally ok with that

Honest review in exchange for copy from sourcebooks early reads.
