Loved it. However, the animosity and fighting between Noel & Amber felt so cringe to me as they are both grown women. Apart from that, it was a good book!

I enjoyed this book for its purpose to serve as a lighthearted distraction.

I think it could’ve done more with the setting it had and the side characters. It was surprising that
the christmas concert
wasn’t more important to the story given that it had a rather emotional buildup.

Every single character besides Nick’s parents was way too immature. It felt like I was reading a book about high school-aged kids. Also, the book was a bit too sex-heavy when it felt like the more natural flow would’ve been about emotions instead of physical desires.

I feel like this book was trying for a slow burn but ended up feeling far too rushed. There were way too many random details that either needed more expansion or should have simply been left out. The writing was pretty cringey at times. It left a lot to be desired but also was good enough for a quick read.

If you have not read Nick and Noel’s Christmas Playlist this holiday season YOU ARE MISSING OUT!

This book has the perfect mix of holiday cheer, conflict/trauma, and romance.

The characters are so authentic and relatable. I miss them already.

I may or may not have stayed up until almost 5am to finish this in one day. No regrets!!

Nick and Noel’s Christmas Playlist has:
🎄Holiday romance
🎄Found family
🎄Friends to lovers
🎄FMC that swears off dating
🎄Cinnamon roll MMC
🎄Spice 🌶️ (3 out of 5)
🎄Jealous Ex (there’s a great girl fight that will have you cackling)
🎄Golden Retriever MMC

TRIGGER WARNING: it does include discussion of family death (parents) but it is very subtle and written to be the least triggering as possible.

This is the first book in a 3 book holiday series but 100% can be read as a stand alone! I actually read the third one first, and then backtracked to the first.

The audio through audible is INCREDIBLE also!!

This was a cute story. Noel got on my nerves a little bit. Gabby felt kind of superfluous and more of an afterthought.

I recently learned the phrase "books that respect your time" to reference books that aren't overwritten and indulgent to the author. This book does not respect your time at nearly 400 pages- it is repetitive and lacking in editing and weak dialogue, despite mostly being dialogue. That said, the characters are fun, the relationships believable, and the sexy times actually spicy. I hope the author grows and learns and the next books respect their readers.
