A perfect sugary Christmas read with a little spice thrown in for good measure. (The spice has a fair amount of detail but there is not a lot of spicy scenes. I had a hard time deciding if this should be a 2 star or 3 star spicy book.) The characters were fun to learn about and the romance was between two lifelong friends. You're definitely rooting for them to figure it out. They are sweet and warm and lovely. I'm looking forward to moving on to the next book in the series.

This book was so sweet. The characters were relatable and easy to love. I thought the story was fast paced and it had just the right amount of emotional bits thrown in for a holiday book!

This was dreadful, honestly. Was it written by a 13-year-old? It’s not well written - it’s all unrealistic dialogue and tell-not-show - and there are tons of typos. So repetitive and wordy in its repetitiveness too. Yeah, we got it the first time, I don’t need to read you 1) thinking about it, 2) talking about it with each other, 3) talking about it with family, 4) thinking about it some more, 5) talking about it with friends, 6) thinking about it again. And the ex drama!! So bad and dumb. I’m not sure this writer has ever seen human adults interact. Cuz they don’t talk or act like this. Lord help me. Christmas is officially OVER.

Loved this lighhhearted but emotionally significant Christmas romance. The characters were great- the 2 MCs allowed each other to grow, showing respect, patience and loyalty. The predictable third act break-up was believable and not overdone. I also liked that the typical “crap” that romance MCs often get away with as reasons for breaking up are called just that- crap. The supporting characters were just great & made the MCs better!

This was cute. I especially liked the characters of the friends - Anthony, Pike, and Gabby. The narration was good, as well.
