A great conclusion to this journey. Selene was able to use her gifts and stay true to her new purpose for House Ravenwood. Damien was able to overcome his power block and help during the war. Lady Ragna was given a suitable punishment. Ophie *spoiler* and I totally guessed right about *spoiler*. Not trying to give anything away for the people that read reviews before the book.
Overall I liked this as a spiritual fantasy trilogy. Christian fiction isn't high on my to-read list but mix in some magic powers and alliances and it tweaks my interest. I'll look out for more books by Morgan L. Busse to see if they offer a similar spark like Mark of the Raven did.

The Empire is here. The war has started and age old secrets have been revealed.

This was fun. Finished the entire series in a month. I blame the fact that I'm just from finishing a Storm of Swords and I couldn't help but compare because the military action here had me so bored and is the reason for my average rating. The cast has so many cool and amazing powers but we mainly saw the events after the battle. I wanted some amazing team-ups like House Maris and Friere combining powers to create steam or Luceras using light, to blind their enemies but NOPE! A girl can only dream

I had high expectations for this book... and Cry of the Raven absolutely surpassed all of them. With some long-anticipated scenes, it could have easily dropped the ball, but instead it delivered on all fronts.

This book really highlights how far Selene has come, and it’s so beautiful to watch. She and Damien are so perfect for each other.

This was a satisfying conclusion with so many good fights and great and shocking moments with Selene and Damien fighting many of their own battles both and outside. All of them were well done and well handled both when they were fighting separately and together. I also found how both battles were aided by the Light in a satisfying way! All in all it was a good daylight conclusion!

THERE WILL NEVER BE ENOUGH WORDS TO SCREAM ABOUT HOW MUCH I LOVE MY OTP.

Every now and then, you meet a couple in fiction that you just LOVE. You just...you're addicted to reading about them. You grin with their successes. You cry when they fail. One hug is enough to tide you over for 100 pages. It's just...ACK I LOVE SELENE AND DAMIEN SO VERY VERY MUCH.

And there wasn't enough of them!!!!! I needed every single scene to be a Selene and Damien one. But, alas, we cannot have everything in this life. So instead we got some of my favorite side characters in this series. All the lords and ladies are amazing and I love them.

I think the highest compliment that I can give any series would be: I'd happily read ten more books about the adventures of these characters.

4 stars. My heart is full.

A rich and satisfying conclusion to the Ravenwood Saga. There was conflict, battles, dreams, love, determination, light, and courage. While I am so sad to say goodbye to Selene and Damien, this series will remain a favourite and one I reread often. The trilogy is so strong with each book striking exactly the write tone and purpose. Highly recommend Cry of the Raven and the whole series. Morgan Busse skyrocketed to my favourite author list with this series and I’m so excited to read what she creates next!
