No solo te tiene tensionada con la historia y la química entre los personajes. Sino en todo lo que los envuelve, en sus pasados y sus secretos, y esta todo tan bien escrito
I hated that he didn't hand in that evidence. I'm allbfor justice bud goddammit we can't have individuals playing heroes just because they feel like they're in the right. And how annoyingly long was that introduction?
And why tf is this ex wife being used as conflict as though she were still Malcom's wife?
Man that one was just frustrating and I hope this series won't just be stupid "will they, won't they". I'd much rather read about their developing relationship than stupid conflicts that don't lead anywhere.

I should really sleep on it before I rate this because wow...both have ex-lover problems i guess :)
For now, I'll just say that I love Love Me - Justin Bieber and it won't ever be the same

While Detective Khalaji recovers, Detective Yoon goes solo, as investigating a case of domestic violence leads him to begin questioning his black and white views on law enforcement. Stepping back from the edge of attraction, we begin to learn more about his complex past in LA, and his ties to a disturbing mystery connected with the violence in Baltimore.
I loved being in Seong-Jae's head for much of this story, and coming to understand more about his black and white ways of seeing the world and his strong sense of justice, as well as his social confusion and hints at his complex past. Both main characters are endearing, complicated and fascinating to read, but I think this instalment benefitted from focusing naturally on Seong-Jae, at a time when it was necessary structurally to do so. I'm getting definite ace-spectrum (demi?) vibes from him, as well as being on the spectrum? I'll be interested to see if any of this is confirmed on page in the future. The author's note, as always, was incredibly moving, and I thought he did a great job counterbalancing a domestic violence case with cracking Seong-Jae's absolutist moral perspective.

I love angst and torture and everything being miserable before things get better so I did enjoy it. But I think I need a bit of a breather after that one!
Also enjoying all the mysteries about the bloody letters and Seong-Jae's past slowly being unveiled.

I hate when the ex-wife shows up and I hate Seong-Jae trying to act like a "hero" by destroying evidence. The same guy who testified against his partner? Just no
