I will always find it fascinating how the Japanese get around censorship. Tentacles, plant appendages, etc. I truly do believe it would be better if Americans had more outlets like this sort of manga being more widely accepted, maid/butler cafes… people would be much better off mentally & socially wise (but I digress).
My friend lent me this and I have no idea what I was getting into. I briefly glanced through it and wasn’t initially sure I loved the style and the consistent chibi-izing of the characters.
BUT once I got to the meat and potatoes of the story (literally & figuratively) I finally understood.
There’s something about gods/humans & demon/human relationships that I just love. Maybe it’s the forbidden romance part of it or how demons do the deed that I find so intriguing.

Favorite Part : Points to whole book

Such a cool unique concept! Great artwork and weird storyline. Can't wait to see where this is headed.

An interesting story. I like the exploration of taboo kinks. I feel like Makoto’s motivations/wants are a bit inconsistent

Maybe I’m visually illiterate but I found it really hard to tell what was happening in some scenes :( I think the ebook format didn’t help.

This is actually the most twisted thing I’ve ever read. Which is interesting. It wasn’t quite for me but I can’t say the themes weren’t done well.

The art is absolutely gorgeous! There’s a ton of detail in several scenes, especially with regards to the demon designs.

The premise is interesting, though the subject matter is quite twisted.
SpoilerI think, if I hadn’t read so much throughout my life on real life cannibals,
I would’ve been more capable of just losing myself in the story.

Ho sento, però no entenc què he llegit ^^' Fa rabieta perquè les il·lustracions són xules i l'ambientació més dark i fantasiosa semblava interessant, llàstima que la trama sigui un embolic sense sentit :(

The art style is incredible, and the story is something else.
There are graphic depictions of gore, body horror and sexual activity in this manga, so keep that in mind if you would like to pick it up.
Both J and Makoto are incredibly intriguing characters, as are the side characters which have been introduced so far (D being my favourite). The way the demon world works is easy to understand, less easy is figuring out what is actually going on inside Makoto's head.
I'm excited to continue this.
