Necesito saber más de este mundo ¿por qué han desaparecido los humano? ¿Por que hay tantos monstruos diferentes? ¿De dónde salen? ¿Cuánto miden los marcos de las puertas para que pase esta gente?

cute

Cute short story, it wasn’t really what I was in the mood for as it was a no angst/no conflict slice of life story.

That’s all I really have to say.

I love a Minotaur!

Lyonne Riley caught my attention with the Trollkin lovers series but really sunk her hooks into me with this book! I am such a sucker for set ups like this and am so, so excited to see more about New Eden!

I wanted to like this, I generally love a monster romance but nothing happened and I kept cringing (partly because I listened to it as an audiobook which doesn't help).

Celeste just didn't give me much, and all I remember is her being prejudiced about most of the monsters and being worried they would kill her if she went out alone. Theo was patient and kind but again, not a lot stuck out to me about him either.

Wholesome I suppose and definitely low angst but not for me.

Had trouble loving the FMC. It is nice being spoiled but girl got whiney.

This is my first book by Lyonne Riley, and I don't understand why I haven't read her other books until now. Her writing is so beautiful! The characters are incredibly well-described!

I fell in love with Theo, the gentle minotaur giant, and Celeste, a human who feels lonely. I think they perfectly fit together. I really loved that they took their time to get to know each other and see their feelings unfold. Theo was such a teddy bear and reminded me of my own husband, so yeah, Theo all the way ! It was such a cozy, sweet, and spicy read, I loved it! In short, I really loved this world
