This was my second Coben book, and it delivered.
The beginning took some time to meet the characters, there are so many; but it grabs you, and you have no choice but to run!
I can usually figure our what's happening and"whodunnit" before it's revealed, and this book was typical in that. However, that split-second transparency doesn't take away from the book. There are plenty of twists and turns. And a few surprises that actually surprised me.
This one was worth the time, which wasn't much since I couldn't put the book down!

One of his best...thought I had this one all figured out, and pow! Three different surprises at the end!

Really enjoyed this. Typical Harlan Coben… lots of twists and turns to keep you on your toes. The only thing I do find with his books is that more often than not you have to really concentrate because there are so many different characters and story arcs happening at the same time.

“The girl at the door was young. Eighteen, twenty, something like that. Nope, not a Jehovah’s Witness. Didn’t have that scooped-out-brain smile.”
Some twists and turns I didn't see coming, along with Coben's usual moments of laugh-out-loud dialogue, made for a darn good listen.

Matt,an ex-con, is trying to rebuild his life. He has a wife and a baby on the way. He soon gets an unexpected call and photo sent to him from his wife's phone and his life is turned upside down once more time. I thought it was a quick read and interesting enough that I stayed up late reading it. This is the 2nd Harlan Coben book I've read and I have a feeling I will end up reading more of his books.
