Wow, I loved this book so much. It’s the perfect balance of romance, women’s fiction and humor. The characters are great and all the relationships, from the parental to the romantic, are on point. If you love Hallmark movies and are looking for something like those but realer then this is the book for you, I can’t wait to read what comes next from Monaghan.
I received this eARC thanks to NetGalley and GP Putnam’s Sons in exchange for an honest review.

Fun fast read that was the book equivalent of a Hallmark movie (not surprising, since the main character writes those)

This, my friends, is my idea of the perfect summer read. A smart, great romance with a real twist. Best served with a gin & tonic or Arnie Palmer.

I was torn between ratings for this book because some aspects were irritating, but I stayed up all night reading so decided on five stars.
Characters were mostly good, heavily disliked the miscommunication, the character arcs were wonderful though. Story was similar to her other books but enjoyable nonetheless.

I just ranted about this for 10 min
Nora might just be a robot
Leo came off as very immature especially in the beginning
Also you could have solved your problem with one text message it’s not the 10 year old’s fault
Might delete later bc I respect that everyone likes/dislikes books for different reasons and a lot of people loved this book. Don’t hate me for not liking it

Cute book. It delivers exactly what you want in a romance novel but better writing than usual and an actual storyline.
