Steady and easy read with a cast of characters that I adore.

This one had an interesting killer, and one you might not see coming. Maybe there's too much of Eve's friends and not enough tension, but you could say that of any of the recent stuff. Worth reading if you're a series fan.

DNF. Could not get into this author's writing style.

I love Eve, Roarke and the community they are a part of. I always enjoy learning what these characters are up to. In this one I really enjoyed Jaime and Quilla, characters from previous books. This one surprised me a little with the identity of the villain. Something about this one just didn’t draw me in the same way as other In Death books. An enjoyable installment, yet not quite the layered story I expect from an Eve Dallas investigation.

This one felt much slower than some of the other books in the series. It did have some nice twists and turns and the fact that the antagonist was almost like Dexter that was a sort of cool twist. It was still a fun read and I will continue to read from the series when I get around to it.

Another good addition to the series. By the time we hit #54 there's very little to talk about. These are my brain junk food.

One of my favorite series. This was a unique case, that throws back to the 2000's. It was fun watching Eve & Peabody research that era of clothing and fashion :)
Eve is always so much more invested when it hits close to home. The whodunnit was a nice twist to the story.
It was fun to see Jamie pop up in this book. The competition between EDD and Roarke was a funny background flavor throughout the book.
