This is a sweet graphic novel about magic, goblins, ghosts and more. One character (Blob Ghost) uses they/them pronouns, and two girls realize that maybe they want more than just friendship.

I only knocked down one star because sometimes I found the artwork hard to follow - there's so much detail on pages, it's sometimes a little overwhelming.

I really loved everything about this, especially all of the little background details. My only issues were that sometimes the action got a little hard to follow in the art and that Beetle and Kats romantic chemistry felt a tad bit rushed (but they were friends prior to the start of the graphic novel so I can mostly let it slide). Overall a big win for gay people.

A whimsical story set in a fantastical world in which I wish I could spend more time. The characters were great with unique designs. Even the background characters looked so cool that I wish I could get to know each of them. The humor was charming, and the emotional moments were always deserved. Bravo!

This was a cute little story about two childhood friends meeting again as young adults and finding love. Beetle and Kat had a cute relationship once they talked out their issues and dealt with a toxic family member who was determined to ruin peoples day. I really enjoyed the artwork in this one. It was very colorful and vibrant. Also, grandma was a badass and I liked her a lot.
