Honestly it felt like it was rushed. Especially the ending. I know that we have to see the vernurable side and her warring sides but she kinda became weak ish instead of the badass she was in the other books. And of course, Ian was the savior of a lot of her issues. However, I will say I like Frost's inclusion of Greek mythology (which is one of my faves to read). As always Frost gives a good plotline(in my opinion) and I cant wait to read more.

Was the epilogue cut out by mistake?!?! I don’t understand the abrupt ending. The final battle was a blur and then they just said bye and bounced? Ian left his friends stranded and Veritas didn’t even check on her brother who can’t teleport anymore from having lost a whole eye?! How does that make any sense. We didn’t even find out where her “home” is since she whispered it. When I turned the page and saw “Acknowledgments” I was completely shocked. How was that the last page?! Honestly 3 stars might be too high. I did enjoy the overall series and it was nice to see old friends but that ending. I feel cheated.

From word one, this book springs into action and doesn't let up. It's one breathtaking event after another, sweeping the reader along on a thrill ride that barely allows for a breather before it comes to a swift and action filled conclusion.
Along the way we're reunited with characters we've come to love over the course of previous books. They fit together seamlessly as though each one and their abilities was specifically crafted with the conclusion of this book in mind. It's a satisfying culmination of everything that has gone before.
Above all else, the book is well written, unadulterated fun! Well worth the wait!

Another great series comes to an end, I think I have been reading it with all the sequels and the spin off for more than 10 years.... Anyway I regret nothing.

THANKS EDELWEISS FOR THE PREVIEW!

When I first started the Night Huntress Universe books, I couldn't stand Ian. He took nothing seriously and didn't really seem to care about anyone. As I look back at the end, it is with complete certainty that I say that he and Veritas are the best things to come out of this universe.

This was fine. A fun story, but it kind of fell flat compared to the first two books. I hope we get to see Katie's story in the future!
