YAY, i loved this one!! when we are back to phoebe and dan being a part of the story, you know its going to be good. i loved this one, i loved Annabelle and her matchmaking business and can-do attitude paired with her sarcasm. her and heaths banter was 10/10 and i ate up every interaction they had. the side story with bodies and portia was nice too, although portia did scare me a little toward the end there ( and also she was right, bodies was acting like her part time shrink trying to psychoanalyze her every two seconds... man step off the gas and let her breathe) ANYWAY. this was a great read and had that frenemies-to-lovers feel that i love. also it was nice to be introduced to the Chicago stars bookclub, which i hope will be making its appearance again. also excited for deans book, he was a good guy to annabelle in this one. so anyway 4/5 loved it.

this wasn't the authors best book. the guy was too much of a jerk and the woman too much of a pushover.thank god she picked up her balls towards the end and turned the tables at him but the story was just too emotionally detached.

I don't know why I still like her books?!It's all the same:boy and girl met, little bit annoy each other then girl fell in love with a boy but he isn't sure what he feels and when realize it girl don't trust him anymore...But they end up together happily ever after...Maybe I'm too romantic for my own good... :)

everyone, this is how you write a romcom book. i know it's not a perfect one (because a romcom must be both a romance and a comedy but the romance between the main characters doesn't happen til 90% of the book) but almost a perfect romcom book. while reading this book i got myself laughing at many scenes bcs they were funny. i surprised myself by enjoying this book (this book was released in 2000's but the writing is not bad to read this time now

This was a cute read. Annabelle is my second favorite SEP character (after Jane in Nobody's Baby But Mine), and I liked the plot of this one a lot. It would have been 4 stars for me but it lacked the usual amount of SEP humor and witty dialogue.

More of 3.5 than 4 on this one, though the new characters were fun.

I don't know how many times I've read this one, it has to be my fave Susan E. Phillips book by far. It's fun, it doesn't take itself too seriously. The characters have a tongue in cheek attitude all the way through, even in it's serious moments. Annabelle is the best.
