Read only for the recipes, a portion of them are keepers but skipped all the other woo-woo about "there is not a cancer that wild blueberries cannot prevent" and "life-changing angels". Way too religious for me.

A lot of great information in this book and yummy recipes. I am trying to be more mindful of how I nourish my body. I don’t have any serious health issues but I would like to keep it that way. I started drinking the celery juice and have done so for three weeks now. My energy has skyrocketed so I will continue and I want to try other suggestions from Mr. William.

Interesting... but I would rather have some science/research on his claims. But I do like that he’s promoting eating fruits, vegetables, herbs/spices, and wild foods.

Really enjoyed this book! It was interesting to learn about each food item such as blueberries and sweet potatoes and what their actual benefits are. However, I took the author's teachings regarding spirituality with a grain of salt. I found some of the ideas such as sleeping with a bowl of kiwis on your nightstand or holding fruit in your hand to receive its benefits to be far fetched. One of the last sections on fertility were very interesting. I did disagree with one major idea in the book in which he says that nightshades aren't harmful to health. I believe that some, not all people can be sensitive to nightshades and these people feel better when nightshades aren't included in their diets. I saved a few of the recipes and I am looking forward to trying them out.

This is an excellent reference book with great photos, simple recipes, and loads of information about fruits, vegetables, and herbs. While I like the book it seems incomplete (the reason for 4 stars, not 5). The fruit section was extensive, but the vegetable section was less so. I would have also been interested in reading William's thoughts on nuts, beans, and meat.
