**Review Edit**
Previously rated 4.5 ⭐️ but I’m still thinking about this book over a month later. Changing to a full 5 ⭐️ review. Soooo gooood. It will tear your heart out and leave you wanting more!

4.5 rounded up to 5. Mind trigger warnings and tread lightly with your health, especially if you have a history of trauma (especially sexual trauma).

**ARC Review**

I loved this novel! I truly felt connected to Elaenor and her journey in the story. Though the story is not an HEA (not a spoiler, the author is very open about that fact), Elaenor is still a fighter. The development of the characters was done very well and the portrayal of trauma was heartbreaking and, unfortunately, relatable on a very raw level. However, it left me feeling seen in the story.

I have more to say but I am still processing the book and the ending…. Omg!!!

Rest of my review after processing the book fully

I’m so mad at this book. As someone who has been in an abusive and manipulative relationship, I sympathized with Elaenor. I never want to victim blame but oh my gosh. She kept making the stupidest decisions. Parts are hard to read from an abuse standpoint but I mostly wanted to reach into my kindle and throttle her. The premise was interesting but I felt like we didn’t get enough development in the “other worldly” things that were happening. I may read the next one only to see if she comes into her power and maybe starts making some better decisions.
On the positives, I guess the book did stir some intense emotions. And I’m still not sure if everything that happened at the end actually happened.

Far too much overly descriptive violence. I’m not usually someone who needs to heed trigger warnings. If you are, I do not suggest reading this.

Holey, what a lot of emotional feelings this book brings. If you read this, please look at the TWs before hand. I can't wait to see what the next book brings!

Absolutely loved being an ARC reader for this book. Took me a bit to process what i read before i wrote my review, but with that being said, this book was everything and more than i thought it would be. It is definitely a book that you can get lost in! So ready for book 2!!

A little more dark than my regular read. Had to push through for this one but I wanted to see how it ended. Not great for any of the characters honestly.

*Glass and Bone* is a mesmerizing blend of fantasy and romance that kept me hooked from the very first page! Elaenor, or Nora, is a beautifully complex character navigating the treacherous waters of royalty and love. Ripped from one loveless home to marry a future king, she faces daunting challenges while unraveling the mystery of her mother’s death.

The vivid imagery of a mysterious man with green eyes shattered and glass and broken bones in her dreams adds an intriguing layer of suspense that left me guessing what would happen next. The forbidden love she feels for a man she can’t have only deepens the stakes, making her journey all the more compelling. ❤️✨

This story explores themes of power, betrayal, and the struggle for true love beautifully. If you’re a fan of intricate plots filled with emotional depth and captivating characters, you won’t want to miss this one! Highly recommend!

This book is amazing. It feels a tiny bit like Game of Thrones. Please read the trigger warnings! This book is about Elaenor, princess of Chatis and sooo much more that I can’t even begin to describe without spoiling it. There’s lovers to enemies, bfs brother, abuse, etc. so much I loved about this book and I can’t wait to see where Eleanor goes from here. I will be reading more from the Diadem series in the future. I received an arc of this book and it did not disappoint. I just need to know when the next book will release because the ENDING. Thank you so much for this heartbreaking and intense book. I need more from this series and I will be on the lookout for the next book release
