A nice easy schmaltz novel to breeze through and get me closer to my reading challenge goal this year. If you're looking for something that doesn't require any brain power and contains a bit of cheesy romance then this is for you. Oh, and I got it free via iTunes book store.

Good story with nice characters and a beautiful setting. Believable even if everyone is glamorous and wealthy. The story jumped between 3 different stories and 4 timelines which was a little tough to follow at the beginning but it worked.

The hallmark movie of books. Cute easy summer read and very cliche

Una bonita lectura para el verano. Seguramente leeré el resto de los libros de la saga porque este ha sido entretenido, rápido de leer y con una historia dulce, justo lo que andaba buscando.

I give this book 3.5 stars...it's a typical beachy type read. I really liked the characters and I liked the setting. I thought it all came together very nicely. Nothing new but a great one to just sink into.

I have mixed feelings about this book. On one hand is a good story, but they were a few things that really kept me from giving it more than three stars. First, there are actually too many characters in the story. Without giving anything away, there’s two teenagers who didn’t need to be a part of the story at all. It was kind of distracting, actually. It’s not I don’t like the characters, it’s just that it seem like it was added for fluff or something.
The other reason I had a hard time with this book is because I listened to it On audible. I was not at all impressed with the narrator. All of her female voices sounded like adolescent girls. Even the females that were well into their 40s, 50s, and 60s. All the male voices sounded like Hells angels. So, every dialogue that I had a listen to between a man and a woman always sounded like the Hells Angel flirting with a 12-year-old girl.
Story itself was good though, so I may try another one of her books. This will not read the hardcopy though.

This is the first book in the Lakeshore Chronicles series. It returns Olivia Bellamy to a summer camp her grandparents own. Her grandmother wants her to renovate the camp that has been closed for 9 years and Olivia agrees to it. What she doesn't for see is that she will end up working with a friend she made at this summer camp many years ago. There are a few side stories about her father, her Uncle and his family's struggles, and her summer friend's younger brother Julian and his struggles.
I look forward to seeing what the rest of the books in this series are about.
