This is the first book in the Lakeshore Chronicles series. It returns Olivia Bellamy to a summer camp her grandparents own. Her grandmother wants her to renovate the camp that has been closed for 9 years and Olivia agrees to it. What she doesn't for see is that she will end up working with a friend she made at this summer camp many years ago. There are a few side stories about her father, her Uncle and his family's struggles, and her summer friend's younger brother Julian and his struggles.
