Fun! Somewhere between a 3.5-4 to me, I rounded up because I really love all these characters.

What puts it just under a 4 is; some of the “miscommunication/secrets” drama & conflict seemed contrived, or blown out of proportion (like as a reader, it seemed like there were multiple simple solutions that weren’t entertained). And things with Meredith’s character also seemed left hanging in the end. Otherwise, super fun just like it’s Delilah counterpart!

While this book was absolutely amazing and I devoured it as quickly as I could the perpetual anger over such small things to begin their relationship really irked me. Yes, Jordan spilled coffee on an expensive dress and yes, Astrid was a dick about it but holding a grudge for weeks and refusing to discuss it or give each other leeway is a little ridiculous. It made me dislike both characters for almost more than half the book, and frankly the third act breakup has never been my favorite trope but has been a staple of this series. I’d prefer deep conversations, understanding, and relationship development rather than a hasty “for the greater good” breakup. But in any event this book was fantastic and other than these critiques and I definitely enjoyed it and I’m looking forward to Iris’ book!

Super cute! I enjoyed this story and the 2 main characters more than the first book. Such an easy read. Can’t wait to read about Iris’ love story in the next one

This was ok. To be honest, I’m reading them backwards and without a doubt “Iris Kelly doesn’t date” was better than this one.
Not remarkable, just ok
