this made my heart so very happy. such a wonderful break from the health scare i’m currently going through. it’s quite hard for me to really fall into a romance because i typically feel like they’re too unrealistic and mushy, but astrid’s character arc was truly inspiring and nearly had me teary-eyed. by far one of my favorite romances (which is pretty crazy coming from someone as pretentious and annoying as me ;)

cant wait for iris kelly!! <3

Astrid is the best part about this book, everything else is kind of middle ground.

Sooo good :) It's so addicting that I read it in one day. The enemies to lovers was exactly what I needed. Can't wait to read the 3rd book!!

Ugh I loved this.

I love an opposites attract story and boy are Jordan and Astrid opposites. Their first meeting was absolutely chaotic and watching them get to know each other as they worked together was so sweet.

I loved being in Astrid’s head and getting to understand her better after seeing her through Delilah’s eyes. She puts so much pressure on herself (bc of how her mother has been) to be perfect and watching her finally let go and start to decide who she is made me a lil emo.

The friendships in this series are such a highlight for me. I’ve cried multiple times just seeing the unending support and love they have for each other. It’s the kind of unconditional acceptance that every friendship should be based on.

I had such a lovely time reading this one and I’m so excited to get Iris’ story next!
