Entretenido y rápido de leer. Suspenso y emoción. Pero francamente una historia fácil de olvidar.

I found it a bit slow throughout the whole book until the last 10 chapters or so, only then I was actually immersed in the story. The only thing I can say I actually liked was the relationship between the sisters, although because of the aforementioned pacing, the development felt a bit rushed.

3...Not bad, but not grand! Definitely loved the quick pace, and story...YET sometimes BP's writing is a bit too fictional...like not plausible, would never happen and when it comes to procedural stuff it gets annoying...BUT these novels are more television than novel to me!

I disliked almost every character in this book, but I think that's how the author planned it. I was definitely kept guessing who was involved in each issue that was brought up and the big one (the main one) I was partially correct. Danielle and Chloe were not lovable exactly but I felt for each in their own way and was glad they were kept as center characters.  Four stars because it was a really good book, and the ending surprised me somewhat.

The French voices were really nice and clear. The story went smoothly and I am glad it wasnt focused on romance.
Sisterhood restored while murders are solved. You grew along with the main character's pov. Im glad they included her graduation in the épilogue. Overall I enjoyed the book and recommend it.

Topics include murder, infidelity, break-up, sisterhood, small town gossip attitude, police education, mentalhealth.

This was okay - a free/cheap Kindle purchase at some point, and I needed a little book to tide me over. It had enough plot to keep me interested and it read very quickly. I did find some typos as other users pointed out, including in one spot mixing up the names of the characters, and that kind of thing always pulls me out of the flow of a book.
