I first read this book at a very young age and It has been stuck with me since then. I remembered the title till this very day, and I knew I HAD to read it again. So I here I did, and I knew it was worthwhile since I finished the book in literally a day. It is so good and so realistic of what's happening in the world. It really opens your eyes and I swear, everyone must read this. I think that if you read it at a young age you will feel more effected and moved by it like I did.

Read this with my daughter.
She absolutely loved it.
I thought it was depressing as hell.
But
It really was written very well - gives you a look into what it's like trying to live and grow up in a country that's been in a constant state of war for the past 30 years.

i enjoyed this story, though at most points it was really sad. these three children had to live off the streets and had to be careful of the land mines placed everywhere

Globalni ciljevi: druga kultura, nastavak serijala

Journey
As a whole I hate journey stories because that is usually the whole story. In this case it is a journey that has a purpose, but there is no long term goal. Except to be in Pairs in 20 years.
Good, well researched book. Now on to the next book in the series.

beatifully written, Deborah continue to show how Parvana is not giving up even when every door close in her face, she continue to show compassion and the will to fight.
