Extremely dated. This book was published in 1963, and it's offensively sexist. The book also lacks credibility: The endless stream of mini case studies all end in such perfect, tidy bows that they're impossible to believe. I tried to just focus on the parts that were helpful, but the good was obscured by the bad.

The Power of Your Subconscious Mind by Joseph Murphy is an incredible read that covers nearly every aspect of life that could cause stress or uncertainty. The book is thoughtfully divided into delightful sections that make it easy to digest, while still being rich in valuable insights. I especially enjoyed the anecdotes and stories shared throughout; they are both engaging and motivational.

This is definitely a book I’ll keep coming back to, and I highly recommend reading it multiple times for full impact. The way Murphy writes is captivating, and the message resonates deeply. It's a perfect introduction to manifestation and metaphysics, offering practical tools for transforming your mindset and life.

The "end points" at the end of each section are also very nice

If you're looking for a book that inspires personal growth and encourages a deeper understanding of your own potential, this is one you don't want to miss!

Every time I read a book that becomes one of my new least favorites, I think it can't happen again. And yet here we are. Very repetitive. Made a few good points but just felt overall very delusional.

It reveals how our thoughts and beliefs shape our reality and how we can rewire them to attract success, happiness, and better health.

The negative thoughts always appear in one's mind, but a few can convert them into positive ones. How? By using their subconscious mind. Dr. Joseph Murphy recommends praying before going to sleep, send generous and heartfelt thoughts towards others (like reiki) because what you give is what you receive. The author divides the teachings into small segments with concrete case subjects. After each chapter, you'll get the pointers that sum up the whole part. The content is repetitive, but at least read this book once because you never know how it will help you.
