The plot and (most of the) character work in this were excellent, but taking 0.5 stars off because the narrator has the personality of a wet sock. I didn't guess the ending at all, but it all clicked into place once I found out.

I just did not caaaare about anyone or find them interesting except Ajay, and all the characters felt very distant to me. I really considered dnf'ing around 80%, but by that point I wanted to be able to put it on my read list for all the time I'd spent on the audiobook.

MKO's best yet! I loved the slightly older characters and audience and horror/darker elements, and the art and characters were done especially well. I can't wait to see what she does next.
