The Fear Trials by Lindsay Cummings

I didn't know what to expect from this but i heard so many good and exciting stuff about it and thought I need to give it a try! And the story seems really interesting!
At first it was a bit confusing and I didn't understand everything but I immediately liked Meadow! She has such a pretty name and seems to be so strong and brave and i'm curious to find out more about her (and her family in general)!
Her father is ... interesting? I'm not sure if i like him or not but i do, kind of, understand why he does the things he does - even though they seem heartless and cruel.
That was definitely a good start and i already can't wait to continue with TMC!

Okay, focus. What can I say about this little novella? I was so excited to read Warner's POV and i loved it so so sooo much - he might already be my favorite character, ugh god.
Seriously, he's so much more than the "villain" in this series and i'm glad we found out more about his personality. That scene with the dog KILLED me! Too cute ahhh.
I loved absolutely EVERYTHING about this book! Especially the journal and how he felt reading Juliette's words, thoughts and feelings - the scenes with his father (he's a jerk btw!) and with Delalieu and the coffee!
It was so good to see another side of Warner and i can't wait to explore his personality more and more!

I didn't even know that there's a Dimka POV! How could i not know, ahh!
Honestly, i could read a whole book out of Dimitri's POV - nothing against that! I absolutely love Dimitri and i only wish it would have been longer!

The Book Thief by Markus Zusak
5.0
It all started with my love for Hans Hubermann. He was the first character I really liked and his relationship with Liesel was just beautiful and i'd like to thank Zusak for such a great character!
The second thing is Death. He's the narrator of the story and it was really interesting to read about Liesel's life in his point of view - plus: i liked how the author interprets his character!
For me, a big and important part was Max Vandenburg - he's one of my faves of the book and I adore him - I especially loved his scenes with Liesel and
I also liked Rudy a lot and I bet it's nice to have someone like him in your life - he loved Liesel with all of his heart and that's just beautiful.
Those little "side notes", the drawings and Max' stories for Liesel and also the little explanations were nice and I enjoyed them.
Conclusion: I LOVED this book and I'd give it some more stars if I could. It's not a "light" or even a fast read but it's definitely worth reading!

in the end when she sees him walking down the street with all the other jews ... ugh, I needed to wipe off some tears!I also liked Rudy a lot and I bet it's nice to have someone like him in your life - he loved Liesel with all of his heart and that's just beautiful.

And OH GOD, in the end when SHE kissed him ... that was SO SAD - WHY NOT EARLIER?!?!Those little "side notes", the drawings and Max' stories for Liesel and also the little explanations were nice and I enjoyed them.

The 5th Wave by Rick Yancey

One word: Wow. But before I say anything else, I had a hard time to get into it at first. I don't really know why, it's captivating and thrilling and I was super excited but at the same time I was constantly confused and irritated!
Cassie is an awesome character! She's badass and brave and strong and sceptical about everything, which is good because ... well, aliens? war? She's alone and there are "Silencers" everywhere? You can't just run around and trust everyone you see ... I loved Cassie's thoughts and also her humor! It's like I relived her memories and emotions and all the danger ... but without actual aliens here. :)
I liked the changing POV's a lot! Especially Ben Parish's POV was amazing to read and I always looked forward to them - I really started to like him and I was so scared he might die or get killed or something else might happen to him, ugh. But Sams! I loved how protective Ben was over him!
Another favorite was, of course, Evan Walker! He's a perfect, goodlooking farm boy that washes your hair, cooks you food and always helps you in general. He's also super good with guns and other weapons ... quite handy during an alien invasion, right? Gosh, I loved him so so much! At first I wasn't sure about him and especially when I read Cassie's sceptical thoughts ... well, I agreed with her. His scenes with Cassie were all amazing! I loved every little one of them, no matter how tiny and unimportant they were!
The story/plot itself was thrilling and very well thought out! I never read alien-invasion stories or something like that but of course I saw some movies and knew what I had to expect ... and still, this was SO MUCH BETTER! Everything made sense in the end and well, talking about the end ...
HOW AWESOME AND CRUEL AT THE SAME TIME WAS THAT?!? It leaves you with so many questions and you're worried about what happens next and if everyone survives and and and - just PERFECT! Damnit, I'm so excited for "The Infinite Sea" now! I can't wait to continue the amazing journey with all those amazing characters!

Especially those last scenes, where he comes back for lil' Nugget and wants to save him, god. That made me love Parish even more! HE'S AWESOME!!Another favorite was, of course, Evan Walker!
