Supernatural: Witch's Canyon by Jeffrey J. Mariotte
3.0
I consider myself as a big fan of the Supernatural series and - of course - I wanted to read the books too! But after I finished the first one I couldn't be more dissapointed, maybe because I expected too much but (for me) it was boring and all I wanted was to finish it as soon as possible.
Well, and when I finally did I wasn't sure if I should really read the second one ... BUT! Let me tell you: it's a lot better than the first book!
I could imagine Dean and Sam investigating, fighting those "creatures", doing research, looking for any clues and yes, even eating their food at the Wagon Wheel.
In general I think it was "well" written (there are always up's and down's, of course) and I especially liked the scene with all the insects (one of my favorites scenes but ugh, gross!)
There are also a few flashbacks of Dean & Sam as kids and some nice brotherly moments that I really enjoyed! I'd say all in all it's a good book, still not as good as the TV show but if you're really into Supernatural and (like me) can't get enough of it: read it! :)

"Easy" was actually not so easy for me. At first! I had a hard time getting into the writing style and especially all those abbreviations annoyed me a lot - most of the time i didn't even know what they meant.
Jaqueline is likeable but definitely not my favorite character! I loved Lucas (obviously) but also Benji! And to be honest I hoped to read more about him and his friendship with Jackie. Erin was also a good friend and veeeery interesting!
After all, I really enjoyed the story - although it was a bit predictable sometimes - and Jaqueline's and Lucas relationship, as well as the rest of the book!
