I was excited about the premise of couple gets like married or whatever and is distant but idk something about "princess" didn't quite grab me

Someone had made a post on reddit about how much they loved this book and while it wasn't bad, I don't think it did enough for me to want to continue the series. Who knows though!!

The human materials kind of makes sense, though the skin veil did give me some heebies and jeebies. Poochie made me so uncomfortable

It did drag at times with the whole "I don't deserve love" schtick that Raef had going on but overall what a cute story

I really wish there was more of an introduction to this world and the characters because it really felt like I had been thrown in there, almost like it was the second book of a series rather than the first of some interconnected standalones.

I love that L&K didn't fall into the misunderstanding trope because that would have been so frustrating
