Daydream, 3.5 ⭐️, sadly I didn’t love this one as much as I thought I would. The writing was still great I just didn’t enjoy it the way I enjoyed Icebreaker & Wildfire. I did love the characters but it felt to slow for me (I was expecting it to be paced like the previous two books in the series).
OH. MY. GOD. The ending????? Like specifically the epilogue. This book was everything, it was my first cowboy romance and definitely not the last. I loved the writing and Rhett Eaton is to die for. Definitely my favorite romance of the year, so far. And let me tell you, Elsie Silver knows how to write a good sex scene.
I thoroughly enjoyed the beginning but once Daphne and Simon got married it went down hill for me. The so called "controversial" scene shouldn't be seen as controversial and wouldn't be if the roles were reversed. Still really great writing!
This is my third book by Chloe Gong and I realized that I just don't enjoy her writing, her books have been difficult for me to get through and I haven't really been able to enjoy them like others, this is the last I will be reading by her.
I will admit, there was no plot what so ever but this man can eatttt. The entire book is legitamitely just smut and I enjoyed it because the characters were honestly great. If you want something hot and short (with a monster 😉) I definitely recommend it. Short hot and just what I needed to get me out of a reading slump.
I did enjoy the authors writing style and the first half of the book but I found it incredibly predictable and I did not like the characters what-so-ever.
This was really enjoyable, not my normal genre but I really liked it. The characters were so lovable and the plot was pretty good. I also loved the authors writing and will likely continue reading books by her.
