UMMMMM, EXCUSE ME??? I'm so glad was suggested this series after the second book was published, because those last few chapters??? That ending??? This book... It's everything I look for in a good book. I've added another book to my 5 Star Obsession list!

Princess Tiana is my favorite princess and always will be! When I heard about this book I knew O had to read it. After a VERY long wait on Libby, it finally became available and was SO WORTH IT!

The book picks up in the cemetery scene from the movie and goes from there. Parts were a little repetitive at times, but overall the story was so good and true to the characters too!

So much character growth for all of your favorites, even more than what we saw on the movie I'd say.

 
Getting to have Tiana's father back and seeing them together warmed my heart! And I was absolutely crushed when she had to lose him again. Like literally sobbing so hard I couldn't catch my breath! I didn't see it coming!

I mean, twist after twist after twist! I'm glad I grabbed this as one of Amazon's First Reads. I dragged my feet on actually reading it but once I did, I was thoroughly entertained!

I think the thriller genre is growing on me!

I love the characters that Shonda has created, especially Cristina Yang. Hearing Shonda's passion and the way she decided to take on life by saying yes, I can say that I love Shonda too!

There are some great lessons and revelations that I know I'll be taking with me. Maybe I need to start saying yes too... 🤔

Finally, listen to audio book! Shonda is so charismatic and a great storyteller. I honestly think you're missing out on some nuances if you don't. Also, there are clips from her speeches embedded within!
