agamemnon: did not really enjoy. perhaps know the plot too well and just wasn’t particularly in the mood.
the libation bearers: simple but brilliant. loved
the eumenides: more interesting than powerful. if i enjoyed the libation bearers on an emotional level, then i enjoyed this on a more cognitive/intellectual level. very interesting complement to the libation bearers. tragic emotion made to seem at an uneasy relation with a developed societal system of justice. also, Perhaps i have just watched oppenheimer too recently, but all i could think of was chain reactions of tragedy…

Presents some interesting ideas, but fell a bit flat for me. Robertson’s chapter stood out as particularly good, but I felt the others could have easily been a quarter of the length and delivered the same argument.
