Marigold Mind Laundry by Jungeun Yun
This book offered an unique and magical journey through pain, healing, and self-discovery. ❤️ Jieun, our main character, accidentally loses her family due to a mishap with her powers and, after living countless lives in search of them, establishes the Mind Laundry. There, she cleanses the sorrows of others, turning their pain into red petals—a beautiful metaphor for transformation! 🥀
Through Jieun’s encounters with different clients, a filmmaker, an influencer, a betrayed wife, a heartbroken woman, and a bullied photographer—readers are drawn into each person's vulnerabilities. Although I found the concept intriguing, I wished for deeper insights into these characters' pasts, which would have added to the emotional impact.
Overall, the book was a warm, insightful read. It reminded me that, though we all carry scars, healing is possible, and every new day can be a fresh start. 🌱
