I've learned from the first two books to not go into them expecting anything or thinking I know what's going to happen! Melissa is honestly a fantastic writer. This story could go many many ways but Melissa is always surprising you with exactly where things are going to go. I'm so happy for Tessa in this book. Growth is real on so many levels. There were a few times I had to just take a second and just think and calm myself because my mind was blown or I was angry at myself because I should have saw that coming or figured out that info! I love a author that can keep my on my toes and blow my mind, it doesn't happen often! I think Theon and Tessa will always be my favorite partnership but this book really did make me love Luka a little bit more. And it also put some other people into a better perspective. All I can say is this series is absolutely one of my favorite of all time and I can't wait to finish even tho my heart will be a little broken to leave Devrem!

I mean she did warn me it didnt have a happy ending but was still crushed at how he ended up dying :( he was so good for her! absolutely loved the book from start to finish and I'm excited to read the series! The only thing I'm sad about is having to wait so long to get to the end of the story.
