My love for this book started slowly and kept growing as I read on. I wasn't sure how I felt about the first couple stories...then I realized I was thinking about them when I was away from the book and couldn't wait to get back to reading it. Elliot's words and imagery seem to have a way of sticking with me long after finishing a story. Each story is like a weird, somewhat disturbing dream that you sort of want to get out of when you're in it, but that you miss when it's over.
