Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom
5.0
I was connected to this book and find it so close to heart rather than other so-called self help books or philosophical books. The language was so simple that anyone could grasp the true meaning about the topics discussed in this book. I even cried at the end of the book. I wish I had a teacher like Morrie Schwartz. But, so what? I'm blessed to come across this book and it changed the way I look at my life now. :)
Mitch Albom is so lucky to have such a great teacher. :) I hope everyone finds one.
Happy reading!

Ahhh! Such a wonderful book! A must read for a man more than a woman :)
The Martian by Andy Weir

Funny. Witty. Very clever plot. I cant imagine the pain that the writer went through to make the science workout on every page. Cant wait for the film to release. I guess its much better in a film. Any non-science student could read this. But, have to keep up with many abbreviations. Also, its alot difficult to imagine things if you havent watched any sci fi film yet.
I would recommend this to every sci fi reader.
Once again, this book is very very funny! Made me laugh out loud! Seriously cant wait for the film to release though!

The Sense of an Ending by Julian Barnes

A book which changed the way I think about life and death and the consequences of the words we utter.
Kafka on the Shore by Haruki Murakami

What can I say? This book contains everything which you could imagine to be in a book. Cats, fishes n leeches falling from sky, going to another world..
First of all, I liked the writing style and how the two parallel stories of Kafka and the old man Nakata converge at the climax. That was really beautiful!
I need not mention it, but this book is entirely a metaphor to our life which concludes the story by 'The world is a metaphor'. You will be convinced to that line once you start reading this book. For surrealist lovers, this book doesnt disappoint you at all.
This is my first book of Haruki Murakami. I totally enjoyed it.

The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky

As you all know and as many readers and reviewers compared it to the The Catcher in the Rye, yes this book definitely resembles that. Its obviously like reading a teenager's diary. And who wouldn't like to read a diary of personal things?
The "growing-up" years in everyone's life are very important and precious. I guess I relate to this book a lot. My friends used to say I look "moody" all the time(just like Charlie is) and I know now that I used to be in one place and day dream of being in another place. So, its like body-present, mind-absent like thing.
This book also makes me want to have a pen-friend to whom I can write long letters or short letters describing my life in details. It would be awesome!
I recommend this to people who just wants to have a read and dont take it too serious. Its like an evening snack, a quick read.
Charlie has a great sense for Music and Mix-tapes. Also, there a lot of interesting books mentioned in THIS book. I added all this books to my to-read list. I'm looking forward to read them.
One thing, I don't like in this book is Charlie always cries for many stupid reasons. He cries for every other 2 pages. I just cant imagine a 15-16year old western kid crying for such reasons even if he is like Charlie. I think I saw too many western movies that I cannot imagine or cannot stand them to be like that.
So, that's it. I'd give a 3.5/5 rating to this. :)
