The writing was extremly repetitive and the main character was cringe and annoying. The love triangle (a literall triangle) was really unrealistic. I am still not sure if I like the combination of historical events and magical realism. I learned a lot about hungary after WW2 and I really enjoyed the way the author descibes the city Budapest. The book was not what i expected and therfore i was a little bit disappointed.
