I received an ARC and am providing my honest opinion.

This one was funny. I shall forever love the mantra 'girl code doesn't apply when you're a cunt.'
Dalton is the loveable golden retriever and Ariella is a black cat, fiery Latina. The burn is slow, but there is so much sexual tension it wasn't a boring slow-burn.
I also appreciate the author using chapter titles to speak to the reader. The one acknowledging that the hockey wasn't accurate because we are fiction readers was great. And the one that referred you to the spicy character art was also much appreciated (that art was perfect BTW)
I will definitely be checking out the second book in this series when it drops!
