Read for my degree :)

At first I hated this book, but it definitely grew on me. I wish that there were more interactions between Darcy and Elizabeth, it would definitely make their love more believable. The last third of the book brought it up to four stars for me, as the language and events that occur genuinely become interesting.

Finally read this!! This was an assigned read for my degree and I’m glad to say I’ve read it. I suppose from growing up with several movie adaptions I thought this book would be a little more special than it ended up being, though it’s still a good piece of classic literature!

An exploration of grief that hurt my heart. I think there were some parts that went over my head a little, there’s probably a deeper meaning to crows rambles. I’d recommend looking up the names if you don’t recognise them, as knowing about Ted Hughes and Sylvia Plath is important to the narrative. I liked that grief itself wasn’t an obstacle to get over, simply a long project that you never really finish.

Great read for Vox Machina fans! I would say you’ve gotta be a fan of the series to enjoy this book, or at least have a little background knowledge. Things are explained decently and all but a lot of Easter eggs (such as Vax getting the snake belt) might go over people’s heads.
I adored Vax’s relationship with Thorn and I liked how the twins were both openly bisexual. It’s lovely rep without forcing it and screaming about it. It’s just there and that’s great!

Studied for my degree, read only suddenly last summer but read it enough times to call the rest of the book done page wise

I really liked SLS and would recommend it!
