I think it’s just a bit basic lol, like the themes are meant to be shocking but they just aren’t? I expected sm more. We are never told why there’s a police investigation either. It just seems like a mid attempt at trying to be cool and edgy

my review keeps not saving ugh. 

Good book, didn’t like the sexism and misogyny but loved the moral dilemmas that it raises about androids and humans need to dominate other species. 

Didn’t understand the Mercism stuff tho, made me feel a bit dumb.

Interesting discussion of topics such as Ai and the meaning of life. I didn’t realise until embarrassingly late that Ron Lord was meant to be Byron, and Polly D was meant to be the other P name guy.
I don’t think the rape scene was at all necessary, it was weird and out of place and I hated it
