A great look at the cultural history of one of the most disturbing viruses. 
I’ve been terrified of rabies since I was a child (for no reason because there have been no cited rabies cases in my area in a very long time) and I read this hoping it would make me less afraid bc that worked with Ebola. It didn’t. I’m more afraid of rabies now and have the data to back up my fear.
