A great short story.

Love the way it shifted in time throughout the story, and how the last sentence of the past perspective often mirrored the first sentence of the present perspective.
Overall a great short story.

I have mixed feelings about this book. It started off so strong and I was really enjoying it. It was creepy, unsettling, and definitely had me panicking in my car at night on my drive home in the dark.
But somewhere in the middle, things changed. The book started to feel extremely repetitive, as if the same events were happening over and over and nothing was really moving forward. I don't think this had to do with it's length as I've read big books, some being longer than this one, before, but unfortunately just the story needed some unnecessary scenes cut or more tension added.
I stuck it out though and I'm glad I did because I really liked the ending. It was creative, not at all what I was expecting, and creepy too! This was a great book for SpOoKy SeAsOn.

Good story but it felt like I was being told a lot of things, not necessarily enjoying a story

My favorite part of this story is how flawed and stupid Katniss can be. It gives me hope that maybe I'm not as bad as I think and might end up with a hot guy who can bake me cakes one day

Annabeth wanting to hear the sirens knowing full well she had a high chance of dying is such an Annabeth thing to do. Brb, I'm crying cause I'll never as much of a badass as she is.
