These were hit or miss for me. The ones I loved, I really loved, but then there were many that felt like so much filler.

i liked the writing in this, but it did not give thriller energy until the last few moments. there were many times that characters said things that seemed like they were supposed to create tension, but it just didn't work for me. with this being a translation, though, it feels wrong to judge that harshly since i don't know if it worked in its original form
