prolly one of the densest texts i’ve read since leaving school, and a micromanaging nightmare to run through text-to-speech due to the footnotes on the bottom of every page (sometimes taking up almost half the page themselves!). i entirely understand why the author chose this route, vs putting a whole half the book’s length of notes at the end, but definitely not the most accessible of options
