Needed it for work I'm doing, and was extremely helpful--wish there were more diverse body types though.

While there were moments I felt it needed a more attentive editor (sans the final star), overall, this book kept me reading--and to me, that's what makes a good story. Demonic evil goes beyond the normal realm of possession and creates for itself an unholy lineage of generational terror; what a brilliant demon Ahlborn's created. If only all .99 digital releases were this good. Look forward to more from this author, with or without a good editor. (Amazon Review)

*sigh* Read this because of the costume change and the promise of Stracynski - turned dissapointing.

Ok, Barry wakes up and finds his mom is still alive, no one has heard of Superman, Batman is not Bruce Wayne, Cyborg is leader of the League, Billy Batson is total jailbait, and Wonder Woman and Aquaman are fighting a war that's sunk western Europe and has Britain as the New Themyscira.

Schweeet! I thoroughly hope this becomes animated. I would've given it more than three stars had it not made shallow messes of two of my favorite characters in DC (Aquaman and Wonder Woman). So much potential here, and it's wasted. :/

Alien Kal-el is amazing though, seriously-- didn't see that coming.

As for this being ground-zero for the reboot that so far has failed to impress me...it's a great appetizer, pity the main course that is the DC reboot - tastes terrible.
