3.5 Stars.
This one started out feeling like 2 stars. Like a bare-bones version of a shallow-level medical memoir. The whole first half was like this, more or less.
And then the second half of the book is so interesting that it’s like the author changed. The second half was like 4 Stars if not better. Molly had learned so much and always knew the history behind the procedures and diseases that came to bear in the cardiac ward.
Spending MINIMAL time doing rounds in similar wards, I was appreciative that the focus was on the patients.
If you’re patient, this one gets very interesting.
