As always Archer never disappoints.
But yeah it's better than first part (as first part had introductions to do πŸ˜€)
.
Otherwise both were pretty fast paced.
This one had something new on each page.
And the variety of topics and
Multiple criminals.
.
The insight into the work of Scotland yard.
How they work and all, was really good and interesting.
.
There were many twists in the story
So many unexpected things took place.
Never once felt like putting the book down for a while.
.
It's brilliant
The end was also satisfactory.
Didn't found the cliff hanger.
I had expected it.
Though I was satisfied that it's not there otherwise I would be too anxious πŸ˜‚
But I read the blurb of next part hence I am again anxious and waiting eagerly for next book πŸ˜”.
.
Hope it comes sooner.
.
If you loved Clifton Chronicles then do read this.
This has more thrill than Clifton Chronicles
Otherwise this is also a saga.

.
The thing that I enjoyed most in this book is the writing style.
It's different than what I have read before and that in itself was exciting.
.
"Systems of thought, and their antitheses as well, are merely codifications of what we think we know. When we begin to abandon them, we open ourselves to the immensity of the universe, and therefore also to immense possibilities, including the possibility of the impossible."
.

The blend with the reality and
Inclusion of most of the major issue that happened in the mentioned countries.
"Our president looks like a Christmas ham and talks like Chucky. We're America, bitch."
.
.
Nostalgic mentions of Mumbai and the relative Diaspora.
Also  explanations on the behaviour of diaspora people.
.
The humour
"If you die and go to Hell" the Braves fan said, "you have to change places in Atlanta."
.
Mentions of lot of Classics
" A good knowledge of classics is the sign of a educated man."
.
Such a beautiful and realistic love
.

"cling to the love of being alive and living a decent life. That’s the love that makes you real."
.
.
Overall there were lot of thoughts that made us think ..
And lot of information which took time to read ..but it was totally worth it...
.
And the Profound Imagination
The very act of recreating Don Quixote
.
" Maybe this was the human condition, to live inside fictions created by untruths or the withholdings of Actual Truths."
.
.
If you are looking for a Perfect blend of  magic and reality ..
If you love the journey rather than the destination..
If you love to explore different writing
Then go for it ..
.
After this book i came to realise that I like Magical Realism more than Fantasy or rather High Fantasy
In low fantasy we are in this world and then things happen and we come back to real world so the touch with reality is still there.
Like in Narnia, world war is still going on..
.
When we go into totally New world like in High Fantasy the connection to reality is lost.
And when we read a Magical Realism or Low Fantasy we get the hope that anything can happen here in our world.
.
Just my thoughts guys
I still like to read Fantasy don't worry
But our top fav genres keep on changing right πŸ˜€

Described as Instapoetry by critics her poems still reaches the targeted audience ..
.
The established poetry readers might not like her works
But the audience definitely likes it
.
I liked it too
Those beautiful realistic poems
Yet simple language
Surely does magic
.
We feel every word
And connect with her
.

I liked the last part of her poetry the most
"The healing" one

Being one of the oldest self help book this has been the inspiration of many modern self help books which include the theme of
Positivity, controlling your thoughts, what you think you get, law of attraction.
All the later books seems to be inspired from this book.
It has se theme but not easy language of this generation of people.
But no doubt this is brilliant and probably one of the first to talk about thoughts .
.
"As a man thinketh in his heart so is he."
.
.
I don't know whether this kind of self help book was written before 1900s but this seems to me oldest in this theme.
.
Just because a book is oldest it doesn't become a classic..
And this book has all the reasons to be a classics.
And it is indeed inspiring.
Reading few sentences once In a while to improve your mood is all required.
.
People who love selfhelp books should definitely read this one.
And the one who are looking for their meaning in life they might also get a bit inspired from this one.
.
Do try.
