When a book gets too much hype on bookstagram that too when it's new I always think it's new book and then I kind off ignore it..
This time I was interested coz many people said it's about a woman living alone in her late 30s ..

Can you think why I was interested ..

Yes I think you all get it why I was interested..

And when I picked it up I realised it was published in 2018 and that makes me think what made this book famous now..

I am someone who dnf Namesake few years ago and now while reading Whereabouts I feel uncomfortable saying that I had dnf it earlier πŸ˜–.

Maybe now if I read it again, I will understand it better ..
Yes I will try that once again..

And
About whereabouts
It good really good, I don't know what more to say right now..
I just can't express what I am feeling
I will probably write it in my diary
But I am not sure whether I will share it here ..

I don't know what to say
Like is it ok to say that I relate with her
To accept that I might live life like her ..
The life which made me too sad and lonelier in the beginning but as the book went on I felt it's not that bad.

Infact it's better that way
Being alone
Your plans won't have to accommodate someone else
It will be always about you and just you
What's better than loving just you ..

I don't know how life will turn out
And I will love to live alone
But sometimes I do get scared of that thought
Is it normal ?
.
One thing I would like to add about the book is that
It doesn't have any complicated words, no show off nothing
But she plays with words
Even line every sentence is like something new something beautiful, something isolated, and evey line suggests something..
This book is an example to show that you don't need heavy words to prove your point ..
You should just know how to play with words . πŸ™Œ
.
.
Sharing few lines from the book

"In the stark summer desert, this oasis of objects, this ongoing flow of goods, reminds me that everything vanishes, and also reminds me of the banal, stubborn residue of life."

A fast paced mystery with many interesting characters.
Here instead of one dedicated detective we find many ppl working on the case on their own accord, for some personal reasons. They team up and do some brilliant sleuthing and while Police is working side by side in his own way..
Finding clues and getting to know each suspect was interesting..
Story flowed very well ..
.
I won't tell what the story was coz aging I am stressing that you should read a thriller or mystery without reading a blurb
.
About the ending..it was predictable ..
After reading lot of Christie's books we can guess the murdered here infact, we can also guess the reason behind the murder
What we can't guess as usual is
How he did it ...
