Read on a rec from a friend, and finished it in a matter of hours. Quick, sort of quirky, kinda sexy. Some glaring spelling/grammar errors, though. And can't say I was a fan of either manipulative, bratty sister. But, was glad when Grace got a backbone! Really, really liked Pete. The book could've used more of him, honestly.

Sometimes the writing didn't build the suspense like it should. And really, Karen seems like an amateur sometimes. Shouldn't and be better at her job or something??

3.5 stars. I loved the flashback structure and that it was being told from Jonas's point of view. Nice twist at the end. Also liked that Jonas wasn't made into a bad guy vs. a perfect Solomon. Both were flawed and I believe Ophelia loved them both, but in different ways. A few little things - sentence structure, word choice mostly - bothered me some, but not enough that it took me out of the narrative much. Also loved the set-up for Jonas's happy ending with his Ms. WRight...

Dark. Deliciously dirty. Sexy. Beautiful. Tragic. I'm sort of like Griffin - I really wanted to hate Soren, but alas... That's about as coherent a review as I can make right now. Though, if Harlequin needs some line and/or copy editors, I'm sure I can pick up the slack...

What the what??!!! Cliffhanger of all cliffhangers! Oh man, when is The Mistress coming out?! Love it. Erotica and a thriller all in one.

3.5 stars. I don't know what it was about this one that just didn't resonate with me. I love Megan Hart's books, but something about these characters and this story felt...contrived? Didn't really connect with them at all. Still loved Ms. Hart's writing/style. And she can really, really turn up the heat on you.
