The Prince of Crows by Vil N. Vile

Left with some unanswered questions, written okay but the gendered language reared its head again. I have been so wonderfully used to gender inclusive language in romances I never ever miss gendered language it sucks seeing it. Especially in a Non-Monogamous story. Could’ve been done better and been flushed out more.

I can see where this book seems like not the best in the series. Not bad but not great either, enjoyed my time a little bit enough to continue to see another standalone tale in the Orc Sworn books

So fucking good! I love me a Kellen Graves book, absolutely a fave. Highly recommend if you are a Robert Eggers’ fan it is so atmospheric and moody.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 7%.
Found out that this author makes HP fanfics and I can’t read their works if they continue down that path. I’m so disappointed and them being in the Trans Community with me doing these stories I feel betrayed. And yes it matters when someone does fanfics, it is keeping JKR in relevance. It’s not a cool gotcha moment to JKR making characters Trans, Black, Jewish, and any marginalized identity. Especially when she is still actively harming MANY marginalized communities. Do not go into this author’s space by the way please, this is just to bring awareness. *sighs in tired Genderfuild person*

And side note: yes I know they post charities to Trans orgs alongside the story. To some Trans folks, that is okay they’ll excuse the HP fanfic. Me? I can’t. I really can’t. Keeping HP in relevance is still a major impactful problem that affects many of us. A promo of HP makes people go and support her works, that is what happens. I’m so tired. So so tired.
